How Google Street View works

Google Japan made an animated video to explain how Google Street View works. The nicely animated video shows how a robot runs through the streets, while capturing pictures. After that, you see the robot removing all the privacy related content. The robot works until late at night; brushing away license plates, making faces unrecognizable and clearing addresses from mailboxes.
